More than 200 children had a memorable time competing in Worcestershire's first disability football tournament.
University College Worcester staged the event yesterday in partnership with the Worcestershire Football Association and English Federation of Disability.
Craig Williams, from UCW, said the college had been running weekly coaching sessions for disabled children and they simply decided to bring the whole thing together for a special tournament.
"We invited a number of schools from this area as well as the whole of the West Midlands to take part, said Mr Williams.
The event catered for children in wheelchairs as well as those with severe learning disabilities.
Pam Stubbs, from the UCW marketing department, said everyone enjoyed themselves and hoped the tournament would be the first of many.
"They loved it," said Pam. "It was professionally run and they had a great time. The students did a great job helping out."
All the children who took part were presented with medals.
