DRAMA and a famous car were the main highlights of Arts Week at Upton CE Primary School.
All this week, children have been taking part in a range of arts-related activities. Drama teacher Tom Knight visited the school and held workshops with each class, while yesterday (Thursday) author Val Biro brought along Gumdrop the car, star of his range of children's books.
Mr Biro also signed copies of his books and videos for the children.
Parents and governors had a chance to view the results of the week's activities at an open day on Wednesday (May 21).
Headteacher Mark Mumby said: "It's been very busy, everyone's learning a lot. It lets the children express themselves in lots of different ways."
