DISABLED toilets, a drop-down counter, door-opening services, improved signs and colour schemes and an audio loop are to be installed at two Malvern Hills District Council buildings.
The Council House and Priory Lodge Hall will both have the measures fitted at a cost of £30,000 to enable them comply with the Disability Discrimination Act.
The improvements were voted through at an executive committee meeting on Tuesday (May 20).
Also approved was a £7,000 flood alleviation scheme at Drake Street in Welland which will see the capacity of a culvert increased.
Malvern's Tourist Information Centre will also have £3,000 of renovations done to its chimneys, while Langland Community Centre will get a £3,000 storeroom for play equipment.
