PLEASE may I correct errors which appeared on the Bromyard news page (May 16) in the article 'Awards honour unsung heroes'.
Firstly I was not the conductor of Bromyard and District Choral Society but the assistant conductor and not to correct this would detract from the sterling work of Dr David Boddington over many years as conductor, and also of Richard Popple the present conductor. Secondly I do not deliver to the Meals on Wheels volunteers but organise teams to deliver meals to those folk who need them.
I shall accept the award not just for myself but also on behalf of the other volunteers without whom the Meals on Wheels service would crumble.
G R COUSTON, Pear Tree Close, Bromyard.
