HEREFORD'S Irie Hill has announced her 2003 outdoor fixture campaign with the express aim of making the World Championships team in Paris.
She said: "After missing out on the World Indoors, and the excitement from competing and winning a medal at last year's Commonwealth Games, I want to get out and jump high this summer. My coach and I have worked very hard this winter on technical flaws which cost me good heights in the past, and I believe I am on the verge of a breakthrough in my results.
"I am very happy that I will get to compete in my 'home' tracks this summer as there are meetings in Melbourne University, where I train in the winter, Eton, which is my home club and also Regens-burg which is my club in Germany. Hopefully this will help me to get the qualification mark of 4.40m and get a place on the team to Paris."
Hill will begin with an open meeting at the University of Melbourne on June 7.
