GREAT Britain hockey star Rachel Walker was on hand to present Worcester Sixth Form's sporting stars with their awards.
The former Worcester Sixth Form student and now 46 times capped GB hockey player was guest of honour at the annual sports awards evening at Worcestershire County Cricket Club.
The sixth form's hockey squad were honoured after their superb season. They clinched three national titles and a bronze medal in the National Sixth Form and Tertiary Colleges Under-19 Mixed Cup.
The girls netball team won the West Midlands Colleges Championships and also finished runners-up in the British Colleges knockout competition.
The boys basketball team retained the County Basketball Cup and reached the last 16 in the National Basketball Academies Competition while the college football team were again County Champions for the sixth year in succession.
Seven students were also selected to represent Great Britain Colleges or England teams.
