WORCESTER Philharmonic Orchestra concludes another season with a concert at Pershore Abbey.
The concert, entitled Aspects of England, sees the orchestra performing with internationally-renowned tenor soloist Julian Pike.
The head of Vocal and Operatic at Birmingham Conservatoire, Julian will be singing On Wenlock Edge, an evocative setting of Housman's poetry by Vaughan Williams, rarely heard in its orchestral version.
The concert opens with Butterworth's rural idyll The Banks of Green Willow and concludes with the ever-popular London Symphony by Vaughan Williams.
The concert is on Saturday, May 31, at 2.30pm. Tickets (£7, £6 concs, £4 students, children free) are available from the Tourist Information Centre in Malvern and on the door.
