CARING humans are being urged to offer a feline friend a "purr-fect" home as part of Curl Up With Your Cat Day.
Worcester & District Cats Protection is also looking for more cat fosterers as part of the charity's national day on Monday.
The Worcester branch has around 16 cat fosterers in Malvern, Droitwich and Worcester.
"The cats stay with fosterers until we can find them a suitable home," said spokeswoman Zo Jones.
Mrs Jones said many of the cats come to the branch as strays, or because their owners can no longer look after them.
She said the branch had found all types of felines permanent homes, including disabled cats.
"We found a home for a cat called Ralph before Christmas. He had three legs and liver damage," said Mrs Jones.
"We had another cat, Weasley, whose face was a mess. He'd been in an accident and had a wire in his jaw."
Anyone who wants to offer any cat a permanent home, should call 01905 820348. People interested in fostering a cat should call 0870 240 8071.
