MARK Shail will have a run-out with Worcester City reserves at Gresley Rovers on Saturday.
The defender has been sidelined from first-team action since September after when he picked up a knee injury at Crawley Town.
City manager John Barton expects another long-term injury victim Stewart Hadley to be close to a reserve outing around the New Year period.
Reserve team boss Geoff Ashby has been impressed with 18-year-old keeper Shaun Hayes who arrived from Alvechurch two months ago.
Hayes could soon graduate to the first-team bench to enable Paul Wyatt to get regular football.
"He's done quite well and the opportunity is there for him to make the first team squad if he impresses," said Ashby.
