MARK Shail will have his first competitive game for nearly two months when Worcester City's reserves visit Boldmere St Michaels in the Midland Combination tomorrow (2.45).
The defender has been sidelined since picking up a freak injury in the first minute of the Crawley Town match in September when he landed awkwardly.
It has been a slower than expected recovery but he has been training hard for two weeks and was added to the bench against Weymouth last week.
Manager John Barton is also expected to give a run out to Asa Charlton, Mark Owen, Paul Wyatt and Duncan Willetts.
Barton will watch the match and is hoping to be impressed by what he sees.
"I want to see players staking a claim for a first team place so I'm going to be watching carefully the performances," he said.
"I haven't totally made up my mind who will play but certainly some are in need of action to top up fitness and keep them in shape."
City have no first-team game tomorrow.
