MANAGER John Barton has dismissed hopes Michael Blackwood might return for Worcester City at Crawley Town on Saturday.
The 23-year-old winger played in a reserve game for Stevenage Borough last night and Third Division Lincoln City are also believed to be interested in signing him.
"The way we have to go about our business is to assume he is no longer with us," said Barton. "I've got to speak to him later today but I'm not expecting him to be available for Crawley."
Barton received some better news on David Foy who limped off with an injured knee in Monday's draw with Tamworth. Fears that his cartilage had popped in and out appear unfounded.
Lee Goodman, who made four appearances for City's first team last season, has signed for Malvern Town. The 19-year-old has joined the Langland Stadium club in search of regular football.
* Kington lost 3-1 at Wellington last night in the West Midlands Premier.
* Pegasus Juniors continued their disappointing start to the season with a 3-2 defeat at Gloucester United in the Hellenic Premier Division.
