WORCESTER City manager John Barton is in talks to extend Mark Blount's loan spell at the club.
The Burton defender has been at St George's Lane since Boxing Day.
Under Dr Martens Lea-gue rules, players can be on loan for a maximum of 92 days and Blount has al-ready been at City for 65.
Barton still has several worries ahead of Saturday's top-of-the-table clash with Chippenham Town.
Defender Paul Carty is the latest doubt after suffering a gashed ankle in the win at Grantham, but Stewart Hadley, Pat Lyons and David Holmes could all come into the reckoning.
