NEW College students have been doing their bit to help disadvantaged South African youngsters.
The Life Skills students from Redditch and Bromsgrove took part in BBC Radio 5 Live's Shirt Amnesty, which involved collecting old football shirts and sending them to fans in South Africa, where replica kits are prized but prohibitively expensive items.
An appeal was launched across the college asking staff and students to part with their old shirts, which were added to a collection of about 15,000 from across the country.
