BriAn Davies and Jeremy Mole will tonight find out if they have set a new world record for pushing a car as far as possible in 24 hours.
The two prison officers from Long Lartin Prison, near Evesham, are raising funds for the Wish Upon A Star charity, which gives holidays to terminally-ill children.
Mr Davies came up with the fund-raising idea after the death of his eight-year-old niece, Aleysha, who suffered from cancer.
They began their attempt last night at 8pm on Norval Road, on the Long Lartin housing estate in South Littleton, near Evesham, and will complete their task later today.
