POLICE have issued an e-fit of a man wanted in connection with an attempted robbery at knifepoint at a cashpoint outside Safeway.
The 25 year old had parked near the cash machines and noticed another man was using one of them, who then left in a blue car.
The man withdrew £10 and as he was about to return to his car came face to face with the attacker, who demanded the cash and showed him a knife he was holding.
The man escaped and ran towards the store where he contacted the police.
Another person then came to use the machines and the offender walked off towards the loading bay.
The attempted robbery happened at about 10.10pm on Sunday, May 18.
The knifeman is white, aged 18-23, about 5ft 11ins tall, of slim build. He had brown, close set-eyes and stubble on his chin.
He was wearing a dark blue Kangol or Fila baseball cap, a zip-up dark blue Kangol or Fila thigh length padded jacket, dark bottoms and dark trainers.
