AN event happened last week to restore my faith in human nature.
I lost my diary on the bus, which was quite a big inconvenience as it had all my exam dates and times written in it.
It also contained a letter carrying a lot of sentimental value. Having previously lost a violin and two purses without any being returned, I resigned myself to coping without it.
That's why I was so pleasantly surprised when it was posted back to me.
The kind person did not include a name or telephone number so I could thank them, making it an even more selfless gesture.
I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to him or her for showing me there are decent people around.
