REDDITCH superbikes outfit Magnum Motorsport have no riders left after Kelvin Reilly broke his thumb playing football.
The National Superstocks team have gone from two riders to none in the space of a fortnight after renegotiating contract terms with new addition Gary May.
May is financing his own ride and operating out of a different awning and team manager Dave Worthington ruled out any move to welcome May back into the fold.
Lead rider Reilly has been among the points this season but broke his scaphoid - the same injury suffered by David Beckham in Durban - and will be in plaster for six weeks.
Reilly seems certain to be ruled out for the forthcoming rounds at Brands Hatch in four weeks and Rockingham a fortnight later.
And his hope of again racing in the World Round at Brands in late July also appears to have been dashed.
If a plate could be inserted, Reilly could be back on a bike for the trip to Oulton Park on August 10.
Worthington is resigned to his Magnum team missing the next two rounds unless he can persuade championship hopeful David Jefferies to bail him out.
Worthington was tight-lipped again this week about his plans to recruit the high-flier, who is racing at the Isle of Man this week.
And the team manager ruled out bringing in a guest rider.
