A DAUGHTER has lashed out at Redditch Council for continuing to send council tax demands in the name of her late father.
Claire Ridgewell, of Exhall Close, Church Hill, said she and her mother had received at least 10 letters, including tax demands, from Redditch Council in her father's name, James Ridgewell.
But Mr Ridgewell died in March 2001, aged 54.
Miss Ridgewell said her mother Sandra had asked the council several times to remove the name from all correspondence, but to no avail.
But recently, letters have been arriving addressed to 'Person Representative of James Ridgewell' - which Miss Ridgewell says is just as upsetting.
A Redditch Council spokesman said as far as their records showed, correspondence had been sent out in the name of Sandra Ridgewell.
But the spokesman said the matter would now be investigated further.
