The May meeting of the Bromsgrove branch of the RNLI started on sad note. A tribute was made to Ken Reed who had recently passed away. Ken was a very valued committee member who held three different jobs; The 49 Club, the press officer and collecting box secretary. Ken had 47 boxes around the district, which is being taken over by Roy Hawkesworth. Ken will be sadly missed.
After our usual superb meal, Spencer Trickett transported us around Witley Court in the early days with elaborate parties given by the Earl of Dudley.
The Prince of Wales being a regular visitor, through the Great Fire and up to the present time showing the Waterfall in all its glory.
