RESIDENTS are being rounded up for a wacky new art show on the Lickey Hills this weekend.
Gallery in the Trees, a touring group of artists who aim to bring all types of art to rural areas, will be displaying their work this Saturday and Sunday.
Warwickshire-based artist Jo Roberts arrived in Bromsgrove yesterday (Tuesday) dressed-up and ready to drum-up support for the exhibition.
A host of weird, wacky and wild artists will then invade the Lickey Hills for a weekend of family fun, including Kevin Reid who will appear as Harry the stuntman.
Masked Harry will perform a number of stunts including 'miniature biscuit jumps' and 'the Ring of Fire'. Kevin will also be reading from Harry's autobiography.
Gallery in the Trees spokeswoman Clare Roberts said: "The event is aimed at all ages and is not 'high brow' but a good family day out."
Admission is free and there will be artwork on sale, as well as a host of give-aways.
The road show is part of Birmingham's bid to become the European Capital of Culture in 2008. It is being funded by the Arts Council of England, West Midlands and Birmingham City Council.
