PARTY fever sizzled among youngsters celebrating the ninth birthday of well-known childcare group.
Safehands marked its anniversary at the Youth House, in Old Coach Road, with a bash for all its after-school club members.
Sixty-five children aged four and upwards, enjoyed games, dancing and of course, the birthday buffet.
Julie Bicknell founded the Safehands group. Over the years, hundreds of the town's tots, toddlers and schoolchildren have been cared for by Julie and her staff.
Employee Lisa Rowbotham helped with the annual party.
"It was great fun and the children had a wail of a time," she said.
Safehands offers childcare at several sites across Droitwich.
