DOZENS of fake power tools were seized when police raided a van in Droitwich.
Principal trading standards officer Peter Holmes said the sting, which resulted in an arrest, was the first in a campaign.
"This was the first in a number of raids we will be carrying out as we are committed to removing the risk these conmen pose to innocent members of the public in Worcestershire.
"Although our investigative work continues, we ask that any member of the public who thinks they may have been approached to purchase these products, or any business who has seen suspicious transactions from vans operating on their property, to contact us immediately on 01905 765373," Mr Holmes added.
