RESIDENTS in an Oakenshaw road are calling for action after their street was flooded for the third time in just 10 months.
Last Tuesday evening, residents in Middleton Close looked out of their windows to discover a pipe had burst, shooting water out in all directions.
It went into several gardens, flooded a shed and went into a resident's conservatory, leaving a layer of silt in its wake as the water dried up.
The same road had a flood in February and one in July, 2002, and residents say they have now had too much.
