CAMPAIGNERS for a Studley bypass are still no closer to finding out if they will ever see one built.
News is still awaited as to whether the A435 through Studley and Mappleborough Green will be "detrunked" and responsibility handed from the Highways Agency to Warwickshire County Council.
The county council opposes the move, which could jeopardise the scheme ever getting funding.
Meanwhile, those in the A435 Bypass Action Group supporting the building of a western route around the village continue to highlight their campaign with a large sign near Gorcott Hill.
Another bypass campaign group, SERRAG, supports the building of a route to the east of Studley.
