EVESHAM Archery Club's Spring Shoot attracted a strong field from around the Midlands.
The round shot was an Albion for seniors and a Windsor for the juniors. With three dozen arrows shot at 80, 60, and 50 yards giving a total of 972, some high scores were recorded.
Malcolm Porter, shooting gents recurve, had an easy win with a score of 920, some 106 points ahead of his closest rival.
Lindsay Gwilliam had another strong performance scoring 785 to take fourth place, while Mike Pierce, shooting his first long distance shoot, finished the day on 582.
Evesham ladies had another strong showing with Lisa Illingworth finishing second just three points short of the winner. Barbara Stanway (786) took the third place medal.
Ian Trout, shooting limited compound, scored a total of 816 to finish top limited and third overall compound.
With exams looming some of the juniors are short of practice, however, Jacquie Williams shot the Windsor round finishing with a total of 850 to finish top junior and overall second lady.
Sam Pierce completed the Evesham line-up by taking third place junior boy recurve.
Porter and Illingworth took the mixed doubles trophy and, together with Peter Williams, won the team trophy.
