WORCESTER Rugby Club's under 16 ladies went down 34-5 against Morristons (Swansea) but the young squad put up a credible performance against the Welsh Under 16 champions.
Worcester, who were without fly half Alice Richardson who suffered a broken finger, fought well and a number of notable performances were shown by young players.
Player of the match was flanker Helen Clewer, hooker Jenny Mitchell had a strong game seizing two against the head and Becky Lander did well in her first game at scrum half.
Worcester's try came from captain Laura Bradford. The under 16s' next game is away at Ashton Under Mersey on September 30.
