WORCESTER Rugby Club are winning the battle to sign Fijian international Niki Little.
The fly-half, who is out of contract after two seasons at Sale Sharks, looks set to snub offers from French clubs Dax and Biarritz to stay in England.
The 24-year-old is believed to want to stay in the UK because of his English girlfriend coupled with the fact he does not speak French.
Little, who is at present playing in the Southern Hemisphere with Figi in the Pacific Rim Series, is weighing up a number of offers but Worcester remain favourites for his signature.
Craig Chalmers also looks set to complete a move to the Gold'n'Blues to give, along with Tony Yapp, the promotion-chasing club a strong trio of outside halves.
Meanwhile, Worcester have fixed a new pre-season friendly against Pontypool at Sixways on August 18, kick-off 3pm.
