A TRY by Worcester wing Nicola Crawford helped England to a 22-17 victory over World Champions New Zealand in Auckland.
Crawford's first-half try helped England to secure the landmark victory at North Harbour Stadium, Auckland, in front of a capacity 40,000 crowd.
Crawford was joined by fellow Worcester player scrum-half Joanne Yapp, while team mate hooker Nicola Goodwin was a replacement.
This is the first time that New Zealand have been beaten in the ten years that they have been playing internationals.
The game came at the end of a four week tour of Australia and New Zealand with England winning five of their six tour matches. The game was a curtain-raiser to the men's international between New Zealand and Manu Samoa.
Former Worcester fly-half Earl Va'a could not help Manu Samoa to victory as they went down 50-6 against the All Blacks.
