WHAT is going on at the Harriers? I have followed the goings on at the club over the years and have always come to terms with the ways of "the powers that be".
I am a pensioner but am unable to attend matches because I still work every Saturday.
I am a shareholder at the club and also support the Harriers with board advertising in my business, BBM Jewellery.
I was privileged to be shown behind the scenes of the security arrangements at the ground and I was very impressed by improvements instigated by ex-police superintendent Peter Picken.
However, I was shocked to read Mr Picken is leaving. Why?
There is no more qualified person on security matters in Kidderminster than him. His manner and influence at Harriers will be sorely missed.
Who is taking over security matters at the club? Is he or she as qualified as Mr Picken? I doubt it. How sad.
Now I read, Brian Murdoch, the soup and catering champion of the Football League, may no longer be allowed to feed the champions of the future. Why? The Harriers fans will not be the same without the famous Murdoch soup.
I have spoken to other business people in the town and all agree that there is something "not quite right" at the club.
The true supporters and backers of Kidderminster Harriers demand answers. Who has upset the applecart? Who is behind it all?
As things stand at the moment and by way of protest, I will not be renewing my board advertising and will sell my few shares.
