-On May 22 the group was entertained by Frank Hardy, former vice-principal of Pershore College. In his 16 years there he produced several gold medal-winning gardens at Chelsea.
He described how it took 18 months to prepare each garden, needing a great deal of commitment, in both labour and cost.
On Wednesday, members will visit Whitlenge for a walk around the gardens and nursery. Those attending are asked to meet at the venue at 7.30pm.
