In place of the talk on Direction Finding, now postponed until July, two videos from the Radio Society of Great Britain were screened. They showed amateur radio expeditions to Fastnet and Easter Island.
At the Wyre Forest Packet Radio Support Group meeting, a programme of repairs and maintenance to the antenna system was agreed.
The Wyre Forest Repeater Group, which operates the GB3KR and GB3BY repeaters, has a new website, reached through Paula Dowie G8PZT's access system at www.pzt.org.uk. Links are provided to several other amateur radio related sites.
On Tuesday at Chainwire Club, Kidderminster, a summer outdoor activity night and barbecue will start at 8pm. Anyone attending should take their own food. Visitors will be welcome.
The society is offering free membership until September.
