AT the annual parish council meeting earlier this month, David West was elected chairman and Robert Hood-Wright vice-chairman. At the special meeting of Bosbury and Coddington Parish Council on May 22 Elizabeth Cooke and Shirley Eyles were co-opted to fill the vacancies for Bosbury and Julia Boyle for the Coddington vacancy.
Completed questionnaires on the improvements to the facilities at the parish hall are now being collected. If your reply has not been collected by this weekend it would be appreciated if you could drop it in at the village shop.
The committee are most grateful to all the people who kindly helped with the distribution and collection. The completed forms will be entered in a draw for a £25 voucher redeemable at the village shop.
A reminder from the bowls and tennis club that their facilities are open to all and bookable on an hourly basis through the Bell Inn on (01531) 640285, James Boyce on (01531) 640218 or Shirley Eyles on (01531) 640282. There is a key at the Post Office. Now that the long summer evenings have arrived why not get a few friends together for a game.

At Holy Trinity Bosbury on Sunday, June 1 there will be an 11am service. Next Sunday - Whit Sunday at 10am Children's Church.
