POLICE are investigating an accident involving a car in which a dog was killed.
The owner was walking seven-year-old labrador Rupert at the edge of North Quarry at dusk on May 9.
The dog was in collision with a car, and as its owner tried to comfort it, it bit off the tip of his thumb. The tip was later stitched back on at Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
The car driver stayed at the scene while police were called.
