YOUNG people, rural policing, storm damage and rural recycling will be discussed by local government representatives in Earl's Croome.
A meeting of the Southern Area Joint Councillor Forum takes place at the village hall on Wednesday (June 4). It includes includes representatives from parish, district and the county council. While the the forum does not have a decision-making role, it provides a channel of communication through which the decision-makers can be influenced.
Ian Layton, from the County Rural Youth Work Team, will give a presentation on the work of his team, Sgt Bob Werner-de-Sonberg will give an update on rural policing and Kenton Bradbury, from Aquila, will discuss problems with the power supply after last year's storms. The meeting starts at 7.30pm.
