HAVING read the letters for and against installing an outside lift to the beautiful Market House in Ledbury I would like to say that, as a disabled visitor to your town, I totally disagree with the correspondent who was in favour of a lift so as to make access possible for such people.
To install such a lift would amount to an act of corporate vandalism which would no doubt be regretted by future mayors of Ledbury. I just hope it does not go forward.
