THE Malvern Hills Hopper bus service will run for an extra month this year thanks to new funding.
Worcestershire County Council and the Countryside Agency have donated enough cash to allow the service to run from June 1 to October 26.
The two hourly service, organised by the Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty service, will run every Sunday and Bank Holiday during that period.
The Hills Hopper allows visitors and local residents to visit the countryside and towns around the Malvern Hills without having to use a car. On the inside of the timetable are a number of walks that can be done from the bus and the ticket entitles the holder to a discounted entry to Eastnor Castle.
The service runs on a circular route through Great Malvern Railway Station, West Malvern, Jubilee Drive, British Camp, Welland, Castlemorton, Hollybush, Eastnor, Ledbury, back to British Camp and then to Great Malvern.
