A MAN is in hospital with serious head injuries after he and a friend were attacked on their way home from a party.
The two men were assaulted at around 12.30am on Monday, May 26, at the residents' car park, off Celvestune Way, between Trent Close and Grafson Place, in Droitwich.
They stopped to speak to a man with whom they had had a disagreement earlier that night.
A vehicle pulled up, several men climbed out and the duo were punched to the ground. The attackers drove off leaving both men unconscious.
The victims were taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
The man with minor injuries was later released, but the other remained in a stable condition, with a serious head injury.
PC Andy Clarke, at Droitwich police station, is appealing for witnesses to the incident to call him on 08457 444888, quoting 65C/260503.
