MASONS in Kidderminster are doing their bit to make sure the town's war memorial restoration fund goes marching on.
The project, set up by former mayor Ken Stokes, now has more than £5,000 towards a target of £35,000 to stop the names fading forever from the memorial at St Mary's Church.
The five masonic lodges in Kidderminster clubbed together and gave more than £1,000 to the registered charity, Kidderminster War Memorials Conservation Trust.
