A MALVERN art gallery has snatched an exclusive exhibition of wildlife paintings and sculptures from London.
The Society of Wildlife Artists was formed in 1964 as a group of artists hoping to raise awareness about the worlds of flora and fauna.
Ever year since then it has held an exhibition in London which has become a top event on the British wildlife art calendar.
Now, for the first time, the SWLA will hold an additional exhibition out of the capital and has chosen On the Wild Side natural history art gallery in Church Street, Malvern, as the host.
"We are a specialist wildlife art gallery," said gallery manger, Anna Brook.
"We have been here for about two years and are becoming quite well known.
"The Society of Wildlife Artists was looking for somewhere outside of London and chose us."
This year's participating artists include Priscilla Barrett, Hilary Burn, Basil Ede, Peter Partington, Martin Ridley and Alistair Proud.
The exhibition runs from Tuesday June 10, to Sunday June 21.
