IN his benefit year Worcestershire County Cricket Club's David Leatherdale has signed up to www.thisiswccc.co.uk to write an occasional column giving an new perspective for on and off field happenings at New Road.
The all rounder, affectionately known as 'Lugsy' has been awarded a benefit year in 2003 following a long and distinguished career with Worcestershire County Cricket Club.
Lugsy made his first class debut in 1988, was capped by Worcestershire in 1994, has scored over 9,000 first class and over 3,400 one day runs for his county. He also contributes in the bowling department, is one of the finest fielders in the country with over 200 catches, has saved loads of opposition runs and executed many run outs.
