DANNY McDonnell struck a century but still ended up on the losing side for Pedmore against Luctonians.

The Worcester City goalkeeper scored 122 in his side's 242-6 total but Luctonians won this Crusader Worcestershire County League Division One clash by five wickets helped by an unbeaten 60 from A Butterworth.

The defeat leaves Pedmore rooted at the bottom of the table, 19 points adrift of Hagley who also lost at Chaddesley Corbbet.

Kington remain top after a 74 run win against rivals Bromyard with S Johnson chalking up figures of 4-20.

Victory netted them 24 points to keep them ahead of second placed Evesham who had to settle for 16 points in a winning draw at home to Eastnor.

Evesham were 251 all out including fifties for S Berry (82) and I Prince (53) but Eastnor held on and were 197-9 at stumps with A Hussain top scoring with 87.
