CUTTING edge technology that could change the face of manufacturing is due to go on show this Wednesday at a Worcester firm.
A technology showcase covering five-axis machining is due to take place at Mazak, in Badgeworth Drive, Warndon, which makes the precision equipment.
The showcase is being presented by the Manufacturing Advisory Service - West Midlands (MAS-WM).
"Five-axis technology is now starting to become affordable to small and medium-sized manufacturers for the first time," said David Wright, MAS-WM chief executive.
"This event will be ideal for anyone thinking about investing in this exciting new technology. There is no doubt that for many West Midlands manufacturers, large and small, five-axis technology would provide a massive competitive benefit."
The half-day showcase starts at 9am and will include discussions on machine tools and configuration, software and tooling.
The cost is £10. Phone Matt Eccles on 0121 601 6716 or email meccles@mas-wm.org
