Talented poets are being sought to represent towns and villages in Worcestershire in an annual best of UK poetry book.
'The National Poetry Anthology is designed to encourage new writers and its editor Peter Quinn hopes to see plenty of entries from the county.
"We picked 236 town winners last year but we want the new edition to include a winner from every town and village in the circulation area of the Evening News. So far, we haven't enough entries from the area to achieve that," he said.
To enter, send three unpublished poems, of up to 20 lines and 160 words each, on any subject to United Press Ltd, Admail 3735, London EC1B 1JB.
Entry is free and the closing date is Monday, June 30. The winner receives a free copy of the book.
