ELEVEN fitter men and women are jumping for joy after completing a three-month exercise scheme for the over 60s and less able.
The group volunteered to take part in the Extend Scheme, promoted by South Worcestershire Primary Care Trust, 13 weeks ago.
And yesterday, they congratulated each other at Chantry House, St John's, for surviving the movement to music course, led by exercise instructor, Jenny Underhill.
"It's about encouraging the over 60s and the less able to get involved in exercise," she said.
The Extend charity runs the scheme to provide a springboard to other pursuits and sports that are even more challenging.
Participants learn about anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, the process of ageing, class planning, the use of music and rhythm and the Extend philosophy.
