TWO David Bower goals made it two wins in as many games for Bromsgrove Hockey Club in the Summer League.
Bower hit the target in either half to seal a 2-1 home victory against Kings Heath Pickwick last Wednesday.
The visitors dominated most of the first half with slick passing moves but Bromsgrove took the lead against the run of play from Bower's short corner strike.
Pickwick equalised shortly after the break when a shot was deflected for a simple tap in, but their attempts to take the advantage were thwarted on several occasions by highly-rated Bromsgrove goalkeeper Ben Dudley.
The hosts made the most of Pickwick's inability to finish the game off by grabbing the winner five minutes from time when a goalmouth scramble resulted in a reverse-stick shot by Bower.
