ONE person with in-depth knowledge about the fostering system and the role foster parents can play is Brett Miller.
He spent years in care and now spends time trying to ensure future generations of Worcestershire foster children are brought up in a loving and stable environment.
At six, Brett was put into a Birmingham residential school because of his destructive behaviour.
When he was 11, he moved to Redditch where he attended comprehensive school. He was expelled after a year and then spent six months in a children's home.
