DEREK Higgins top scored with 73 not out as Cutnall Green Cricket Club secured a winning draw at Alvechurch and Hopwood last Saturday.
Green skipper Matthew Harris lost the toss and his side was put into bat, losing wickets early on.
The visitors were heading for a low score with a slow outfield before the lower order batsmen chipped in, led by Higgins' 73no, to reach 189-8.
In reply, Alvechurch and Hopwood made a steady start but had their opening and middle order hitters taken by Green's attack, including a wicket for N Evans.
The hosts found themselves batting for a draw and finished on 152-9, resulting in a winning draw for Green. N Wood made 53 for Alvechurch.
On Sunday, Neil Fletcher hit 78 as Cutnall Green lost by 71 runs against Amblecote and Wollaston.
Green lost the loss again and were asked to field, but were unable to breakdown some powerful batting from P Bullock (65) and T Bissell (56) as they finished on 237-5.
Green's reply started well, but once the openers had gone, they were unable to maintain the high score rate required and were skittled out for 166.
