JIMMY Deakin took 5-38 as Avoncroft Seconds beat Old Halesonians by seven wickets.
After winning the toss and fielding first, Deakin's fine display was backed up by Adam Rodway (3-6) and Bob Irish (1-30) to dismiss the hosts for 88.
The visitors lost opener Ian Athey early on, but Matt Hare (31 not out), took the attack to the bowlers.
Support came from Luke Townsend (14) and Rob Holden (21 not out), as Croft reached their target in 21 overs.
