DEAR EDITOR -- In reply to Mary Dawn (travelling gypsy) in the Advertiser/Messenger of May 14, I cannot believe the cheek of the woman.
As a resident of Hampton Lovett, the mess and damage these travellers have caused on the business Park will cost thousands of pounds!
They had 'difficulty with traffic,' she moans!
The cars and lorries had difficulty with their horses all over the place!
She didn't tell your reporter they broke into a private field adjacent to my property and put eight horses to roam round and left three behind!
And she didn't say they had shot a horse in Dover Dale Lane and left its carcass there and the police had to take it away?
If they are leaving the area, good riddance! Will they come back to Hampton Lovett and take their mess and rubbish up to Cumbria? I doubt it!
It's going to cost the taxpayers of Droitwich and Hampton Lovett to get rid of it.
They were also seen breaking into the field opposite the Chateau Impney.
There use to be something in law called trespassing and prosecution - it's time they were stopped from flouting the law of the land.
Disgusted resident
