REDDITCH United manager Rod Brown says his playing budget, which has been increased for the new season, is good enough to win the Western Division title.
The Reds boss has beefed up his squad with two high profile additions and wants to add two more for a title charge next season.
Prolific wide man Simon Hollis wants to make his move to the Valley permanent after two productive loan spells last season and Brown has his eyes on another, unnamed, striker to complete his close season tinkering after signing former fans' favourite Myers and long-term target Richard Leadbetter from Halesowen Town.
Thirty seven-year-old midfielder Martin Myers decided against a return to the Valley last season after an approach from Brown but the Reds manager has seen his patience rewarded.
Leadbetter is another player Brown has been trailing for some time.
The former Wolves striker, who commanded a £20,000 fee when he moved from Stevenage Borough to Nuneaton Borough, was contracted to Halesowen and stayed at the Grove after several eye-catching performances in the Dr Martens League Cup.
But Brown has enticed him to United and wants to tie up Hollis' arrival as soon as possible.
If Redditch agree to pay a tribunal-set fee for the youngster they will be bound to pay the amount set - as they did for winger Alex Cowley last season.
But Brown was staying tight-lipped about his final target.
